VACANCY
We are a local securities house with expertise in Brokerage, Asset Management and
Corporate Finance. Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates with strong analytical
skill and outstanding academic background to join our research team as Equity analyst.
The Equity Analyst will assist in the research process, working closely with the firm's
senior analysts, equity sales team and portfolio managers in making investment
recommendations. The analyst will also provide backup support to other areas of
investment operations.
The main responsibilities and qualifications are listed below:
Responsibilities:
Prepare and build comprehensive financial models
Support the equity sales team by providing investment ideas
Research in various industries and miscellaneous projects
Review and prepare reports using markets data services (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters)
Build relationships with existing clients and listed companies
Qualifications:
Male/Female
Hold S1/S2 degree from reputable University with GPA >3.0
High ability to design and develop corporate earning and corporate valuation model.
Have good quantitative skills.
Strong accounting and equity valuation background.
Advance in financial statement analysis.
Strong writing skills
Advance in Microsoft Excel
2 years experience in financial industry such as corporate finance, banking or
accounting is preferred
Having MI (Fund manager) license or have passed CFA level I exam is an advantage.
